Wystang--If you are a wheel guy, maybe you canh elp me out. I did not buy the upgrade package on the FJ Cruiser and it is going to come in with black steel wheels. Very U-gly. You got any suggestions. I don't want to buy a bunch of stuff I don't need just to get the alloy wheels, and the upgrade is $2600.00
You can do better then 2600 for wheels and tires if you can find a Cruiser forum maybe they can post pics of there wheels. Tires I like to go to tires.com and or tirerack.com (I forget which has free shipping) but you can get name brand tires at awesome prices. Not sure what look you're going for put I saw a Cruiser a few days ago with a 50's theme. Large white wall tires with the chromish looking center caps. Kinda like what a 1957 Chevy Bel-Air would have come with, I really liked the look on the black Cruiser.

Yep good ole Sumi's. Pretty good tire. I had them on my old 92 5.0.

The car's gonna look great, but get some drop springs and she'll look awesome. They aren't bad to put in if I remember.
With the drop springs would also need shocks, struts, and adjustable camber casters to do it right. But I'm not sure what I want to do next suspension or brake up grade like cobra 13'' rotors and calipers.

Are you thinking of the PT Cruiser? This is a Toyota 4-wheel drive vehicle. The 2600 gives you much more than the wheels--didifferent rear end options, interios upgrades, etc., but stuff I didn't need.

Put a lopey cam in it. Cammed 5.0s with long tubes and an offroad H pipe sound OMG!

As well you should be! The new wheels look great. It adds a nice look to an already great looking Mustang.
