using PC, speed setting at 5, the velcro part of the pad just ripped off by itself.

I've tried to glue it and hoping I can still use this pad :buffing::buffing::buffing:

unfortunately, LC pads are out of stock

Did you by any chance run your PC while it was not in contact with anything? If you spin pads in mid-air this can happen very quickly. If not then that sucks. Sorry man. :(

This also happened to me the first time I was polishing.

My problem was I used too much pressure, however I was on a 6.5" pad with a 5" backing plate on the 6 setting... Since then I've used 5.5" on the 5 setting and never had a problem since.

How old is this pad? It looks worn since the letters are fading.

I use to glue the pads on my cyclo a few years ago on a regular basis. Contact glue. Just don't get any where it might come in contact with the paint. Elmers also has a contact adhesive in a reddish and white tube-contact adhesive that looks and smells like clear silicone. Works great hand.

@onlycodered - sometimes when cleaning with the brush

@Keatonus - that's the exact scenario when it came off

@Promode - the pad was fairly new.
