It looks like this was money for a business, legal or illegal. Who knows these days?
I would be sure to let him know what you found. You should probably call him right away. What if he accuses you of taking some?

3 Years ago I was cleaning a real good customers car..in the back seat where his daughters sit I found a ring so big I thought it was the kids...but it was pretty heavy..I placed it in the cup holder and delivered the car,,,an hour later the wife calls me in tears,saying she cant believe I found her ring..they were about to make an insurance claim...the ring was worth over $15k...the husband hit me off w/a ''hundo'' and I GOT A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE...it pays to be honest...
