Looking for a good cleaner wax

If you think that Meguiar's White Wax isn't an AIO that contains "polishing material"...then you'd be barking up the wrong tree.

Yup I agree. White Wax does have SMAT abrasives. The abrasives are the same type as found in M101. Black wax has more polishing oils but it still has SMAT abrasives. Perhaps that or the burgundy bottle may be a better alternative. Here's a good chart

I believe what other are suggesting is to use a cleaner wax/AIO/GPS that has a good glaze effect you are looking for and ignore, or take advantage of, their polish or mechanical cleaning ability.

Just use it like your wax.

I know this may get shouted down but I'll say it:

Try a bottle of CG blacklight and their V7 spray. It the client that doesn't want to folk over cash for proper correction, the blacklight has fine abrasives, fills, and combined with the V7 can really make a car pop for the month that it lasts.

Who knows, you might hook them to come back for more.

They often have sales for 20% off and free shipping over $50. Probably have one right now seeing as it's father's day weekend.

Try a smaller bottle of BL and V7 and see if you like it.

:dblthumb2::iagree:

I've used this combo for a couple years for exactly this has decent durability too. Top the BL with Pete's 53 and wow!

I use the V-7 as a maintainer, I never apply it after the BL or BL / Pete's Combo, I let those cure for a few days.

BL/Pete's Combo no V-7 topper.
Bada Bling Bling!

That tree in the hood reflection blew down 6 days later and crushed the whole cab and roof!

Dude who owned it texted me and said want to see a waste of a great detail job!

It's never been the same since and they swirled out the rest of the truck when they did the repair job at the body shop and trashed the paint with a swirlomatic.

I don't know Megs White Wax at all. Never used it. is it good and how long does it take to apply?

I am simply looking for a sealant or wax with fillers. New Finish is just that. The problem with New Finish is that it stains plasitics and the filling is not that good. Very durable but not something I want to use.

Just looking for something similar with higher quality.

Maybe what I want doesn't exist? Doing a glaze and adding sealant on top is 2 steps, so that is not viable. Also I strongly believe the glaze will prevent the wax or sealant from bonding correctly with the paint and will wash away very quickly.

White wax has about the same amount of correction as D151. It actually may have better correction since it has the same abrasives that are found in M101. I have not applied it like a traditional wax. I have only used it for it's correction ability, which is great. It will last longer than D151. Black wax on the other hand has more polishing oils compared to white wax. It still has abrasives in it. Either one can be used on any color car.
