Looking for a New Ride

Damn Droid. My last post was supposed to say congrats not contracts.

Nice score Jason. That silver will be soooo much easier to care for. You made a great choice. Do I get some props for the suggestion? :dblthumb2:

You definitely get props! :props:

I pick up the ride tomorrow so I'll get some pics then.

3'' downpipe, 3'' catback, intake, hard intercooler pipe, tune. Would make it a low 13 high 12 car :)

Alright so I picked up the new ride last and snapped some pics with my Iphone. Sorry for the lack of quality. Once I actually have a chance to detail it I'll take some real pics.

I must say that the car is really quick and handles awesome. Very tight feel to it and it really sticks to the road. Much more fun to drive than my truck.

Very nice!!! I looked into the HHR SS and wanted to get one for my wife but she liked the Saturn Ion better... :(

I had a Ranger and a Tacoma - loved 'em. 'Course, I love my RAV4 even more. I think SUVs have a wider use range - from work to vacation, shopping and general trans. How often do you really need to pick up plywood and drywall? If it's not that often, have it delivered or borrow/rent a trailer. If it's often, get a truck. Pick the vehicle for what you do.

The DIY stores around here - and I would think everywhere else offer truck rentals for cheap. $20 for an hour or so. Gets your stuff home and doesn't require investment in a truck or the insurance.

Now you just have to decide on a fun vehicle that would double as a mobile detailing unit. Have you thought about two vehicles? A practical "box" vehicle for work and your fun car?

Oops, just posted and I see that I'm too late. HHR seems like a good choice.

One of the shops I work at has a client with one. Full intercooler hard piping, intake, and he will be getting a 3'' downpipe and tune with HPtuners should make some nice power. When it comes by ill make sure to get a video and put it up for you guys
