Looking for a polisher

I've got the same Porter Cable. Have you used any others, and gotten an opinion of them?

I too think it works fine for use on my vehicles, although it would be nice to get them done faster. I have always wondered if I am missing out not having a higher end polisher.

Yes sir.

I have a Flex3401 that I wouldn't give up. It's actually all I use.
My PC spins out my pads for me and my brothers use it when we tackle something together.

You are missing out. ....... now I gotcha thinkin
The PC was/is a great starter. I am still amazed how well it works, but that Flex ya know.

Grab a GG6 with a 5 inch backing plate and 6 cutting pads and 6 finishing pads. If your vehicle is trashed get 3 microfiber cutting pads. Pick up some Meguires D300, Meguires 105, and Meguires 205 and you have a setup that will correct most anything.

Perfect!!!...Do this!

Haha thanks!

I'm happy with the Porter really, I just wonder about the other tools and their capabilities over mine.

I'm still like a kid in a candy store when it cames to toys sometimes LOL!

If your cars are as nice as they look in your avatar, and only need light swirl removal, save your money.

The PC is ALL you need for that. Spend the extra on pad/product combos until you find your "sweet spot". :)

Oh most definitely! They do/did (my Charger is up next) have some light marks here and there on them, but the average person wouldn't have seen them. And the Porter is a champ at working them out. My bigger problem is the pads I was using, which I've already rectified, and have better ones on their way.

And thanks to recommendations throughout the forum here, I have some nice towels and other goodies coming too!
