Looking for a quick detailer

Mother's Showtime, yes,
an oldie but goodie!

This is even a discussion? I thought nothing could come close to Zaino Z-6, then I found Pinnacle Crystal Mist. Nothing comes close to these two.

However, that being said, I do use the Meg's detailer (purple bottle) to wipe down door jambs, etc.

If you are not going to do anything after a wash, then go with a spray wax like Meg's. Little more protection and same effort as a quick detailer.

I actually am getting ready to try Pinnacle's spray wax, which is very expensive but a test spot I did was amazing.

I personally don't see the use for dedicated detail sprays anymore....with the boom in waterless/rinseless washes I don't see the point in having a detail spray.... they're not as economical, they don't clean as well and are not as universal.

I personally have 3 different "sprays" that I use in my regimen;
-d114 for rinseless washes/clay lube
-Ultima for waterless washes when I need a quick touch up
-d156 for after rinseless washes and traditional washes

I get some form of protection on my cars after any type of wash, and to me it's a simple and economical way to do it cuz I can cross use those items for several different tasks like wheels, glass and interior

100% agree. Coming up with your own favorite lineup is best. We all live in different climates and conditions so there is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question. My personal favorite is still Chemical Guys V7 but it is expensive, even by the gallon compared to diluting something that may not work as well but works OK.

Many good suggestions here from people with more experience than me. If you go with Ech2O consider adding some Reload to it. Gives it more shine (I think) and a little protection. Watch the hazing as others have said - a little buffing (very little) helps. I agree the a dedicated QD is not the best idea. If you want to go that route, I would try Duragloss Fast Clean and Shine mixed 4:1 with Duragloss Aquawax. I just a fair amount of this left over and just QDd a car with it yesterday. I like the Ech2O + Reload better, but the DG combo is right behind it. Pretty impressive way to get a quick shine.

If you're going add product like a spray wax or sealant, you may need to remove it before adding more sealant. Not hard to do, just a head's up.

-Duragloss 75% Fast clean and shine + 25% Aquawax is what I use on my own vehicle as a drying aid

-D114 @ 128:1 is the best clay lube, quick detailer, glass cleaner, rinseless wash, I also use it after using a degreaser on emblems or trim to help neutralize the alkalinity of the cleaner and help provide lubrication when drying, also d114 @ 256:1 w/ distilled water is the only solution I've ever used in my tornador. I know you're only suppose to use water but d114 is the best smelling product ever so I like finding excuses to use it.

-uber rinseless (3oz. per gallon) and Last touch D155 (1:1) are my favorite detail sprays that I use when wiping any light dust before my customer comes to get it. These two products are pretty similar in slickness and while Last touch seems to have more gloss enhancers, Uber Rinseless is about the easiest product I've ever used. I've literally tried to get it to streak and I'm just not sure it's possible.lol
