Looking for a wax!

Fuzion is by far the best! Nattys is also a great wax that can be applied in the sun. Both easy on and off!

most people i know use way too much paste wax when doing cars. properly applied a normal tub will do dozens of jobs so the actual cost isnt as bad as you would believe. some waxes a thumbnails worth will do half a car. i love em all. only had couple in all these years i wouldnt touch again.

I would put collinite 915 or 845 up against any sealant as far as durability.. key to both is thin on cool panel. 915 does have a good look, and then again so does 845.

I agree.

845 is easy to use, 915 is great too. 915 nice wet look with collinite durability. As with all coly products thin thin!

I think my post got deleted from posting Links, oops my apologies AG.

But according to the Collinite website the 476s is the most durable, it says it requires the most elbow grease, but IMO it is super easy to use...

I used Meg's #7 and then topped with 476s on the red Prius, to me it still looks good.

I bought my 476s from AG and I got to applicator pads, as a bonus.

Junkman recommended it to me, if Junkman recommends it, it is true lol

Anybody else use 476s?

+1

No I haven't thought about sealants. Im just getting started so not sure how many car show details I will have to start but I want something incase someone comes in that wants a full detail. I will be using the xmt 360 for basic.

For a show car that is garaged and only sees nice weather a carnuba will give a nice warm look, depth and glow, but it's the prep that makes the paint pop, not the LSP. I use Pete's 53 on "show cars" I like the look, price and it's wipe on/wipe off, no hazing.

On a properly polished car the LSP won't make a noticeable difference to the average person.

As of today, my personal favorite paste waxes are Zymol Carbon, and Meguiars #26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax. I'd really like to get a tin of Collinite 476, and a tub of CG XXX. Those are next on the list.
