I always keep in mind that threads on forums like this are read for years, even decades into the future so I like to tie companion threads together. That way if someone finds this thread via Google or a link from somewhere else, if they read to the end of it they find the link to the follow-up thread and it puts everything together.

I'm living proof that people DO read old threads from years ago, and you making the effort to finish this thread properly is part of what makes this forum so great.

I'm back again. Curious to know what was used on that Vette's paint? What was the process?
 
Great story, great read, amazing turnaround and a proof of what a great community Autogeekonline is.

The ultimate sequel would be that the owner starts working on that corvette by himself.

Unfortunately I haven't heard much at all from the owner since the job. I don't know how he is doing with the car.
