Looking for good value paint Sealant with no Abrasives with the following chracteristics

I love the menzerna Powerlock. I believe its called Jetscar now. The only thing
I hate about it is the price. I got it for $21 dollars over the hoilday at another e-tailer. NOw its $29.99 everywhere

Is there anything similar under $20 bucks. If not I guess I stick with what Im using Now :-)

Wipe off really Easy.
does not have a gasoline smell, colinite comes to mine :-)

How many cars do you do? Just your own or several? How long does it take you to go through a typical 16oz bottle?

Megs Ultimate Wax, DuraGloss #111, Opti-Seal and FK 1000p are solid performers in that price range

I apply about 16 coats spread across 4 cars. Paint sealant usually last me a good year before running out. I should be out by winter

FK1000p is like an inexpensive coating in paste form--can't believe how well it performs and lasts.

Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection is the shiniest sealant you can get your hands on. It's also on sale right now here for $19.99, normally $29.99. If you buy it, your Power Lock will just sit.

As far as I know, Jescar has always produced Powerlock for Menzerna.

The cost of sealant per car, when used properly, is a small part of the overall cost of products used during average detail.

In my opinion, LSP is not an area of the Budget that I would cut 1st.

Ski2...perfectly said. It's self cleaning and sheeting ability are indeed like that of a coating. Looks great too.

Meguiars Ultimate Wax....reasonably priced...available otc

For sure!! Car hadn't been washed in 3 weeks do to showers nearly every day--was out in a serious downpour a couple of days ago and then pulled into the garage over night. Couldn't believe how clean and spot free the car was the next morning (of course except for the lower half of the sides). And this was on a car that had FK1000 last applied in October.

I do struggle with applying the FK1000 thin, thin, thin so still working on my technique.

For about an average of $1.00 a month I'd stick with Powerlock or other high quality LSP that is easy to use and provides the results you are expecting.

I actually like Liquid waxes. I'm scared of contaminating paste wax

I noticed the Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection comes with something called Polycharger. is this now absolete. Since so many sealant don't have this additive

If your in Mass i have a tin of megs ult paste wax ill give you.

Like another member said earlier. Four Star Ultimate Paint Protection is the best Sealant you can get your hands on. It is the shiniest and provides excellent protection and gloss!

I just applied Duragloss 111/601. It's cheap. It lasts a long time. It's easy to apply/remove. The gloss is insane. Two thumbs up! Mix the two products in a 4:1 ratio, apply, and after 30 minutes buff it off. I can't even believe this shine is possible without using a machine.

I mixed up 100g (80g 111/20g 601). I only used about half of it for a Toyota Tacoma (~50g).

Meguires Ultimate Liquid Wax might be more cost effective. It's also a nice product for that price range.

I've heard this a lot of times on this forum but I must honestly say I've not seen any posted pictures of the before and after results and that has kept me from ever trying it.

So I'm just asking for someone who has used it to post up some before and after shots.
