I have a service where I will go to an office building and do multiple basic washes. This is typically medical centers, law offices, etc.... . I currently call this my "Office Party" service. I just don't like the name and am having a hard time coming up with anything better. Here is a link to the page on my website that I'm also revamping :Firehouse Mobile Auto Detailing

What do you think might be a better name for this or should I just drop naming it altogether? What say you, fellow Geeks?

Thanks, Mike

Why don't you like the name? I think it's a great name.

"Morning Muster" service, maybe?
"Parade Dress" service.. the Firehouse theme intrigues me.

To be polite I would not even bother with that service.I washed so many cars back in 08 I had 70 cars a month and still made no money.

Hey hey no need to rain on everyone's hustle today eh. Lol.

Just tellin the truth been there done that and lost my shirt.Heres the promblem with washing cars.#1 no money to be made then you go to a office thinking your gonna get 5'from that one office and only end up getting 1.Then they want to call you when your swamped with details. Then you tell them you can't make it then now there pissed.complete waste of time.

I thinks your idea has legs. Getting in front of six people in one day is a great opportunity to present them with vehicle inspection forms with a quote for upgraded services. Paint correction, coatings, and so on. Your name office party is a great one. I may use it myself some day.

They need to be paid for in advance to make sure you don't show up to do just one car.

Just my two cents worth.

Good idea. But I would think even this way wouldn't stop the problems of mixing the two. Separate days would be better for a lone detailer, if doable.

from a branding and marketing standpoint, I agree that the name "office party" doesn't fit with the branding of your website.
Not being a fireman, but living with someone who was in marketing and design for 20 years, I thinking about what she would ask;
what are some of the terms firefighters use to dispatch to an office space?

1 Alarm = Simple wash
2 Alarm = Wash & Wax

or
Engine Co 1, 2 or 3.

Are there other terms firefighters use when making routine dispatches?
What about food cooked at fire houses? I remember watching Emergency as a kid and I think it was "Chet" who always made the Chili?
Chili Special (med / mild / hot)

Keep the brainstorming going... but it should all evolve around your logo and branding... I must admit there is a bit of dichotomy with the fire house branding and "Office Party".

Hope this helps..

Thanks for the input so far guys! I've always thought the name was kinda cheesy...but if you are digging it, I might just keep it.
I do have a sign-up sheet to ensure I have at least 4+ vehicles on any given day. I do a quick recommendation for future work on every car and have done a lot of full details stemming from this. The washes themselves are not huge money makers, but the multipal regular customers I have from them makes it worthwhile. And besides, get my kiddo out helping me, spending some time together washing a few cars making $200-$300 to do that and getting my name and work quality out there...sounds like a decent day once in awhile! :dblthumb2:

I think it should be simple like, group buy. Then describe the situations where a group buy works, offices ect. Be careful not to sabatage any of your current customers who have more then 1 vehicle you do at a time. So a group buy would have to be 4 or more in my opinion, preferrably 6 eh?

Wayne, why are you posting those 2 messages in every single topic on the forum? I don't want to flag you as a spammer, but I don't understand the goal you are trying to achieve by doing that.
