My dollar store spray bottles were awesome at first then started having their problems.

Looking to walk into wal mart, target, harbor freight, autzone, etc. and also amazon prime to grab a couple bottles.

I am not a professional detailer, just need a few bottles.

Not interested in the Kwazar or other high priced bottles.

Looking for something reliable that I can pick up when I leave work today. I live in Tampa so I have access to most major retailers and as previously mentioned, amazon prime as well.

A lot of the other posts on this topic are a few years old with dead links so wanted some updates.

Thanks

Welcome to autogeek....are the bottles the problem or is the sprayers the problem?? if the sprayers the problem just buy some tolco sprayers to me they are very comfortable and reliable

Mostly the sprayers. bottles are bottles to me. Keep them on my shelf and they last. sprayers either leak, clog, or don't lay down a nice pattern of liquid.

Cool cool thanks for clearing that up and your like me dont care to much for the bottles thought it needs to have a decent sprayers and i think some sprayers are made to leak to keep them from clogging or something im not sure

I just picked up a couple of Zep spray bottles from Lowes's for less than $4 each. They work great so far. I'll see how they work after sitting on a shelf with product in them.

I'm using the zep bottles as well with my strong cleaners.

Go to the Walmart cleaning aisle and pick up the Rubbermaid Professional Spray bottles. Someone on here concluded that they were likely identical to the Griot sprayers. They work for me. And for less than 4 bucks.

Not for nothing, I always keep my sprayers from other products (Mothers Showtime QD, Groits Garage spray wax), just to name a few. Certain things I just refuse to by if I don't have too.

I've also used 409, Windex, and other household cleaner sprayers for APC's. Rinse them out real good with hot water, 8/9 pumps in the sink to prime and there you go.

I'm not a pro detailer and these sprayers do great. Might not be worth it for a pro guy, but for me PERFECT.:xyxthumbs: best of all you have spent ZERO....

I have used a few higher priced spray bottles and they always leak or drip. The best I have used are the 3D bottles and gray sprayers.

I will check those out. do the sprayers seem to be of higher quality?

I've found that the Rubbermaid sprayers use a lot of product. I prefer the telco chemical resistant sprayers (grey).

If you're used to the dollar sprayers, the Rubbermaids will be a noticeable upgrade. Easier and more comfortable trigger action.

I love those gray 5 year warranty bottles!

If you want the best spray bottles at a reasonable price ($2.50) head down to your local Auto Zone and purchase one of their industrial spray bottles. Easy and comfortable trigger and adjustable spray head. You wont use anything else, IMHO. At least that's been my experience. Good luck!

i get my bottles from the detail supply company that sells to a lot of the dealerships and volume detailers around here. the sprayers are super buff...so are the bottles. i was paying like two or three bucks per bottle and sprayer. i would call this detail shop down the road and ask when the truck was going to be there next, then meet the dude and cop some bottles.

the particular company is based in Southern NJ and called Clean Chem, but there are a billion companies like it in the country. they need to sell decent sprayers and bottles because they sell some harsh stuff and the bottles get A LOT of use on top of that.

I've thought about using those before. Good to know, thanks. :xyxthumbs:
