what is everyones tire applicator favorite? Mine are going to need to be replaced soon

well what ever it is, I have the flex foam ones and I find them to be pretty expensive. Its cheap foam and felt for 15 bucks

No Mess are the best hands down. Once you use one - you will see what I mean.

You're talking about these?

You can lower the unit cost on them by buying 12 for $33.99: Flex Foam Tire Dressing Applicators, tire swipes, tire gel app

Or you can try these:

Tire & Trim Dressing Applicators, tire swipe, tire sponge

Tire Dressing Pad

Or you can do what a lot of members do and buy the Eagle One applicators at an auto parts store, or the knockoff versions of them at a dollar store.

I use tire gel and never had much luck with the flex applicators. I use the tire and trim dressing applicator available on autogeek. They're circular and essentially have 2 sides to them. So once one side gets worn out just use the other. The applicator is split on both sides so you can easily hold it.

I also use the carrand brush and shine applicator to get into all of the cracks, raised lettering, etc. Very helpful on tires like this...

I might do eagle one, I do not need 12 of the applicators

Carrand works for me with all 5 dressings I have tried. Had mine about 18 months but just a hobbyist (not a pro) so results may vary. A good feature is you can slide the guard to vary how stiff the bristles are.
