I recently got fed up with all of the tiny pinpoint marks on in windshield (likely from sand abrasion from the preceding cars). Anyways, I'd though that this would be a good time to expand my kit.

I currently have a Griot Garage 6" dual action polisher, some assorted pads.

I was wondering if I could use:
Glass Polishing Pads, glass cutting pads, glass leveling discs, abraded discs, auto glass polish

with a
3 Inch Dual Action Flexible Backing Plate, da backing plate, random orbital backing plate

or do I need to get a
Rotary 2 7/8 inch Flexible Backing Plate, backing plates, back plate, lake country backing pad
with some kind of adapter?

BTW, I'm still researching the cerium oxide glass polishes.

Also, can I use this with my Griot polisher?
Flex-Foam HD Rotary Backing Plate, spot buff backing plate, 3" backing plate, circular polisher backing plate
with adapter
D.A Adapter 5/8" X 11

Research the threads and make an informed decision based on the results you want to achieve.

Most threads post mixed results using da's.

Time spent polishing glass, especially after using glass cutting pads, increases significantly.

If you don't have 3-6 hours dedicated to this project, maybe you should reconsider.

Rotary/da spindle sizes are different.
You can't use a rotary bp on a da, or, the opposite.
