Looking to switch from CG to a new brand for all steps.

Ill probably pick up the Menzerna and HD to start off with. The Meguairs is def the most cost/volume though. As well as the CarPro stuff.

If it were me, I'd pick one set of products, and learn them inside out. That means experimenting with things like speed settings, how much pressure, how many passes, how you're priming, types of pads, etc, etc.

I did that with Megs Ultimate/Mirror Glaze. To the point that I don't need to venture past that system.

Sometimes too many options can have you spinning your wheels, "chasing a shine" as Junkman says.

For compounds I like:
1. Meg's M101
2. Menz FG400
3. Meg's Ult Comp

For polishes I like:
1. CarPro Reflect
2. Menz SF4000

For wax/sealant protection I like:
1. FK1000P
2. Collinite 476s

Megs D300, and M205 seem to do ok in the sun. I also had luck with Menzerna in the sun.
