Whats up guyz, how has the weather been for you guyz, its rained here for the past three weeks straight with maybe like one or to days of sun. I'm gonna go crazy, I have not been able to detail any cars, of course I clean mine, but it just rains the next day. It looks like the rain might be going away, so I hoping this weekened I can clean some cars, I got some big details lined up, can't wait. Check out what I came across in wally world, I got lucky on this one. They were only $4.00 each, I couldn't pass it up so I bought two, I love this stuff, I have yet to come across anything that impresses me as much as this stuff.

Also, I wanted to get you gy=uyz opinins about what I did a few days ago. Like I said its been raining like crazy and I was starting to get waterspots, not fully etched, but not coming off with a wash, so I figured it needed a quick paint clean, so I went with AIO and that german polishhing pad that AG sells, you know the one with black on one side and orange on the other, I used the orange side, the side that a little ruffer than the other. I figured this would aid the AIO in getting the water spots out, kinda nervous about making new swirls, but went ahead anyway, form what I can tell it worked like magic, got every waterspot out and even some specs that I would normally use clay for. The paint looked fresh and clean. I also used the same combo on my front window to get out the waterspots and wiper marks, worked very well.
What do you guyz think about this combo for the paint, has anyone done it before, and was it a smart thing to do. From what I can tell, and its really hard to see anything on my white paint, their were no ill effects?

Oh yea I almost forgot, a guy I used to work with a few years ago, just moved back to town and is opening a detail shop, and asked for me to come help him detail, actual I heard this through another friend who had talked to before i did, I didn't even think that that guy knew I detailed cars, apparently alot of people reccomened me to him, I feel so honored, but I couldn't do it without AG. Can't wait.

AG Rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

good find. i still havnt used my gallon up yet. that is awesome that you were recommended for the job! good luck with it!

Nice deal, but if you haven't tried anything else you like, try some Pooyboys SSS or Duagloss 901, I have both and they are noticeably slicker, longer lasting suds, and nice finishing. NXT is good at cleaning but kinda harsh on carnauba finishes. I only use mine when stripping down.

If you had any wax/sealant on, using AIO pry removed it since its a chemical cleaner. :D

NXT should be able to get rid of them. NXT is a little stronger in the cleaning area, and I've left my car outside for two days during rain, and one day of full sun-shine, only to use DP's Xtreme Foam, and they came right off.

I'm a little confused..

You went ahead with AIO and the pad on the paint, and then the windows, BTW I would recommend a much softer pad on windows, anyways, AIO and the pad is common. You didn't do more harm than good. Just the other way around.

If it looks good to you, then I suppose its fine? AIO won't add swirls to your paint, unless it was dirty... then you have a problem.

I figured that the nxt would take the waterspots out, but I guess they were a little to stuck on. The pad I used actually came with some DP glass polish I had orderd form AG a while back, so i figured it was mean t to be used on windows as well, the glass cam out very nice, no problems, just clear streakleass glass. I figured that the AIO combo was okay to use, just wanted to get a another opinion.

Why do you get all the rain? Send me some rain, bro! It did not rain in the past month in California, which sucks. Very little snow in Skiing resorts.
You one one very nice deal, NXT is a good soap for tough jobs. Sometimes I add an ounce of Poorboy's Bug Squash to it for very tough jobs. Works great, but does removes some carnauba protection. With Bug Squash consider it gone, if you very using average durability carnauba (with exception of Collinite waxes, and Meguiar's #16).

And you are right, AG ROCKS!!!!:righton:

I was able to get one for $2 at the local K-Mart awhile ago. Too bad there was only one left. Still, yours is a good find!

i just got 3 at my walmart for 2 bucks each, other walmarts have moved them to a clearance area but havent marked them down but i am watching :)
