Louisiana newbie, collapsed and damaged HydroTech pads

The cyan pad was just spun to fast and flew apart ...... Never lift it off the paint while the machine is running. The Tangerine pad looks like it was over saturated with product then got over heated. Are these the only two pads you have? You need at least 3 of each pad to polish out a car to keep them clean and to keep them form getting over saturated. the red crimson you only need one but I use a dedicated one for each lsp product, especially sealants.

Beautiful lady and car by the way!

Re size them, they are to big or go to an on line picture host like photobucket and up load them then copy and paste the link and poof, picture.

I had to resize them but all the pics in the post are there now go take a second look

If you are going to use the HT pads, be sure that they are completely dry before using again. Do not spin dry as this will not dry the pad. It will take 2-3 days to dry the HT pads.

That's funny. I was thinking the same thing. She is cute. Nice car too.

keep practicing. You will get the hang of it and that Buick will look beatiful. I have people approach me all the time asking to buy my old 98 Chevy pickup with 126,000 miles. IT looks great because I used it as a learning vehicle to get the techniques down. Honestly, I went through a few pads in the process myself.

The buick has alot of swirls that are very noticable when no coat of wax has been applied in awhile. I did get a chance to wet sand a few spots on the hood and the headlights then use M105 followed by M205 and came out great. Sorry no pics but I will do my old ladys 98 honda civic in need of some wet sanding and polishing I will post 50/50s then. thanks again for the help

just read your pm,these fine folks have covered all-take your time and learn how different pads and polishs will work

If any parts of those damaged pads are usable, don't throw away, you can cut them into small pieces for hand application on hard to reach spots.

I just thought about that a little while ago to use m105 or m205 on hard to reach spots for the GG-ROP
