Well unfortunately it is that time of year again when the Love Bugs begin to wreak havoc on our vehicles here in Florida and other areas too.
Unfortunately there is not a lot we can do other than to clean them off as soon as possible, have protection on our finishes and hope they will go away soon.
This is a nightmare for those of us that like to keep or cars clean, not to mention the damage they can cause to paint if not removed in a timely manner.

God I know. I freggin HATE love bug season. Thankfully I will be missing most of it!! :)

Yea....the time of year where my house's porches turn black, and so does the front end of my cars.

Wors thing about LoveBug season? It comes twice a year......

god that front end of the semi makes me want to throw up

This isn't always practical, but at speeds just under 45mph, love bugs don't splat, they bounce. Another bad part of love bug season is the windshield cleaning buckets at the gas pumps - they smell something awful!

add pollen season and its the daily double. visited florida 25 years ago and took a bus from tampa to orlando and got to see the effects of love bugs. absolutely unbelievable i tell people out here on the west coast and they cant relate. its punishment for all that damn sunshine you get.

Heh we don't have the Love Bug problem but do we have problem with pollen, thick enough on cars that you can call it lime-green pearl paint job.

I deal with both. A drive from Savannah to Naples results in a car that looks like a leopard. Yellow with black spots.

They are called love bugs because of this

I'm not sure I've seen those in Knoxville, but I know I've seen bugs do that. I think they are a different color, I have to see.

In Knoxville, we are one of the worst places for pollen. I can easily make 3 inch piles of pollen if i so desire.

Argh. I forgot to add this to my order. Lol. Oh well. Love big season should be over by the time I get back.

Well, Meghan. Once I saw you had it on BOGO, I added it. Just got off the phone with Penny and added a few more things. I don't know if I like you guys or hate you guys! Lol.
