I personally never had Megs last very long and it never impressed me. On the other hand Collinite does the exact opposite. 845 is a long term fast wax but when you really want the ultimate in Collinite the pastes are the way to go. My main waxes are 476S, 885 and 915. I have used 845 and it is very good, I just prefer the pastes.

I love it as well. It's been my go-to LSP on all of our family vehicles for several years now. It looks great, and I get six months of protection from it. I've also found it works great on wheels too.

My only complaint is the fact it really attracts dust/pollen. I'm starting to look for something like Sonax PNS to remedy that problem, but will happily keep using it until I make the decision. No rush at all.
 
For the money, there probably is not a longer lasting more cost effective wax on the market than 845!
 
I use Blackfire Wet Diamond normally and have had good results but have used 845 on leading edges and wheels. Now I'm wondering about putting a coat of Collonite 845 over the top of the BFWD. Would this be advisable? I'm looking for extra protection in anticipation of a 2,000 mile road trip or just as a future combination. The other option would just be a second coat of BFWD. The car is a 16 Charger SRT 392. I clayed and used BF paint preparation before applying the BFWD. Wondering where to go from here. Thanks.

I had BFWD on my tuxedo black F150 for 1 month. Then topped it with 845 for winter protection and a long road trip. Looked beautiful. I have no idea if applying 845 removes or diminished the BFWD, but the look and protection have been long-lasting.

Highly doubt 845 would hurt anything. I had a dried water run on a fender that I did not notice and 845 went right over it without removing the run. I did go back with a QD to clean the run.
