Hello all,

just joined the board to learn how to better protect my investments(which include a late model stang and GTO).

I currently have many products I use to wash and wax, but they are all over the counter products such as:

Meguiars Gold Class liquid
Meguiars three step
Meguiars cleaner paste wax
Mothers carnauba cleaner wax liquid
Meguiars soft soap
Meguiars clay bar
Mothers clay bar
Meguiars quick detail and ultimate detail sprays
Eagle wax as u dry

From what I have been reading, these products are pretty much the lowest grade(somewhat embarrassing) products one can purchase; but I wash my vehicles often and the paint on both are above excellent; in my opinion.

Although my vehicles were always under car covers when not driven, I just recently moved to a home with a two car garage and am thinking about getting into a higher level of detailing.

Hope everyone is having a nice night.

-Luis

I have not had time to clean the stang since I moved to this new house. Hopefully I can tend to it soon and post cleaner pics.

Welcome, actually I'm in the same situation as you, lots of Meg's consumer grade products, but here at AG I'm in love with all the pro products, in fact just ordered a PC with XMT polishes #3 and #1 and LC pads and other stuff, have you ordered something yet?

I am dying to dive into the AG catalog, but I am not confident I know how to use the products yet; so I will be doing more research. Then, I will drop the hammer on some paint correction(the mustang) and pro grade waxes for protection of both cars. By they way good luck with your new products.

And thanks for all the welcomes!

I think you should study this and this too.
