The website says it is not available.

Has anyone purchased one recently?

I saw them at my local Lowes a week ago. Do I need to start stocking up? :)

Anyone else?

If I dont find one locally, I am going to be upset

I was at my Lowes last night and they had a shelf full. Maybe its a local thing.

I'm missing something here.....grout sponge?

Alot of us use the grout sponge for washing our car with rinseless washes, I took it a step further and bought one called the Aqua sponge that I found on Ebay, It was $11.00 w/ free shipping, yes its more than the one at Lowe's but let me tell you this, its awesome! Trillions of pours and its super soft and cleans up VERY easy, mine hasn't even stained yet. I use the one I got from Home Depot for cleaning the tires/wheels as its got a MF side to it.

Some use a Lowes grout spongue to do rinseless washes with ONR, DPW&G, etc. My lowes had two pallets of them back in the tile section. I looked at it but didn't pick it up because I'm trying to stay away from rinseless washes.

I can't say enough about this Aqua sponge, I know it may be "just a sponge" to those who haven;'t used it before but if you had it, you wouldn't say this! It does include FREE SHIPPING!

Aqua sponge is a lot of $$. Many use the Lowes grout sponge approx $2. Another thing is to cut the surface into small squares with sharp knife. Like the lake country wash sponge ($6)

I know its twice as much as the "premium" ones sold here and I can't comment on those because I've never used them, just the $2.50 one from Home Depot and I did like it while I used it but when I saw the Aqua sponge I just had to try it and haven't looked back since. IMO spending the extra $5-6 for this isn't that much of a risk and I can honestly say that this sponge is a great product. Maybe someone here will step up and buy one and either back me up or shoot me down on this, LOL!

I'll stick with my MF wash mits...I have tons of them

Good idea though

My wash mits would pick up dirt and it was hard trying to keep them clean, yes even with a grit guard. The grout sponge is easy to keep clean and I started using them on my
Vette about 5 years ago and still use them today

The Lowes Grout sponge is my "go to" wash media. Been using it for years for regular washes and ONR :)

^ agreed. soft, pliable, rinses out easy and only a few dollars...

Great idea, im going today to pick some up, I have the LC Grout sponge and I love it, its the best at getting dirt safely off the paint and it holds a good amount of suds
