What do you do when you have to be out of your house for two days straight due to showings for a sale? You go mobile and detail!
Had an opportunity to do two very nice bikes over the course of two days. An Indian Chief Classic and a Victory.
This is my first attempt at doing bikes, but my process was pretty much the same.

This was also my first opportunity to work with the Rupes iBird Nano Long Neck, Rupes Zephir Gloss Course Gel and Keramik Fine Gloss Gel Polish and Rupes nano pads.

First we removed all seats, side bags etc.. and any other painted covers / parts that could be removed.
Those were laid out on a table with protective towels.

Secondly we gave both bikes a thorough rinseless wash with Megs D114
After the wash (and because there was so much chrome, we opted not to use Iron-X).
We then clayed all the painted parts (Both on the bike and those removed from the bike) with Pinnacle Fine Poly Clay & Megs D114

Test Spot:
On both the Victory and the Indian we did a test spot with the Keramik Fine Gloss Gel and Rupes Yellow pads.
The results were good, but not great. I switched to the blue pad and the Zephir and viola, we achieved the goal.

Also, because the Victory Side Bags and Indian Parts were so large, I tested a LC 4" Orange Pad w/ 7424xp and Wolfgang Uber Compound. WOW! Results were amazing.
To cut time I did the big parts with the 7424 and Uber, and the small tight parts with the iBird Nano.
Chrome was polished with Never-Dull (provided by customer)
Wipe-down on all painted parts with CarPro Erasure
Wipe-Down of all chrome, frame, plastic parts with Megs D114
Leather: Pinnacle Vinyl Leather Cleaner - Opted not to use Conditioner. We don't want slippery butt!!!
LSP: CQuartz On all painted materials, CQuartz DLUX on all plastics.
Wheels got a generous wipe down with Megs D114.
Tires got nothing. Again safety reasons.

Sorry, not many before photo's. I tried, but iPhone camera, weird lighting and small curvy surfaces, it was tough.
The Victory has so much metal flake in the paint, any attempt at a photo burned the picture out. But trust me, they're both well ridden. Swirls and Squirrels!

ENJOY!!!!

50/50 of Indian Tank!

Stunning work on those big mile munchers Paul. :props:

Detailing bikes isn't for everyone, & the amount of bikes I have done over the years, I sure wish I had my iBrid years ago. I like the look of the Pinnacle Vinyl Leather Cleaner - looks nice & natural. Great work Paul, fantastic post, thanks for sharing mate. :dblthumb2:
