Hey all,

Have my son coming home from college soon and would love to get some winter protection on his pickup.
I can't fit it in my garage so anything I do will be done outside, I am dealing with temps in the 30-40 range most likely.
More than likely it will just be a wash and decon with a clay mit.

My question is what LSP application would you recommend in the cold weather?
I figure anything wipe on/of like a wax or sealant may be to difficult.
Was thinking maybe CarPro Hydr02 or Reload or Gyeon WetCoat might be a simple way to get a few months protection.

Please share your thoughts, thanks

You prolly could use a sealant of choice or a wax or choice, just apply it with your barehands.

I just did a final coat of reload a few weeks ago when the temps were in the low 40s. No problems with the application.

Btw I applied it straight up using my DA with a red CCS pad. No hazing or streaking on my jet black paint

I used Optimum Car Wax yesterday at borderline freezing temps.

Only ended up doing part of the car because the rear of the car was icing over my rinseless wash when I got to it.
