Background:
This car will not be water washed (owner will not allow)
Color is correct, but base/clear
Paint in good condition

I was half thinking.. BFCS
Suggestions?
 
Sealant, coating or wax? This car looks like the wax type to me. Pinnacle Souvergn (sp). I imagine the car stays garaged, maybe covered too. Pinnacle is my go to beauty wax. I keep trying others, but none deliver--at least at that price point.

:iagree: Souvergin. Nothing better.
 
It does look like it could use a good paint cleansing first with Pinnacle Paint Cleansing Lotion then finish with Souveran.
 
•Another (different) "WOWA" Sealant suggestion:
-Ultima Paint Guard Plus.

•A "Traditional" Sealant:
-Meguiar's M21 2.0

Ron, for a little more durability with the wax look, maybe your original suggestion of BFCS (2 coats) with upkeep using BFMS paste wax?

Liquid Souveran is a great choice, carnauba plus polymers. And you can prime your buff MF cloth with Chrystal Mist Liquid Souveran.

Don't blame him for not wanting water. Even a Meg's D114 dilution in a spray bottle to get the dust off could be helpful.

Sorry, I'm not following. Personally, I haven't tried anything easier than #845 save for a Spray Wax. Maybe I'm missing something, if so...don't tell me lol.

I have used 845 since the 70's. Sometimes easy, sometimes it comes off hard. (normally if I use too thick)

I can't/won't take the chance on rubbing this car more than I have to. (except for a loving caress)
 
In the super easy category, here are my "nuba" suggestions in no particular order:

Fuzion, Pinnacle Sig Series II, DDJ Light Fantastic, AF Illusion

For a bit more durability I would lay down one coat of BFCS first...then top with your favorite "wax." Think the natural look of a carnauba is more in line with a classic car. Don't get me wrong I love sealants but wax is old school. Right tool for the right job.

BFCS is 90+% sure.

For special times I was also thinking Fuzion, Souveran, or Natty's blue.

I have also started thinking about using Black Ice as a topper just now too
