M/F towel colors

I am a bit confused on the colors of A/F towels . I have bought a rainbow of colors from AG . I still am not sure which color is best for which phase of detailing . Can someone please advise me ?

Try this. For towels that have multiple uses listed you will just have to try different things and see which you prefer.

Here's what I use.
Guzzler=drying
Edgeless=remove wax
Junior=QD's; final buff
Glass WW=glass
All purpose=remove polish; interior; etc.

I don't think colors has anything to do with what you use it for. Quality and size comes in different colors. In other words mf's are not like pads which are color specific to the job.

I think some mf towel makers provide packs in several colors so you can visually dedicate towels to a specific purpose (paint, wheels, interior, glass) if you are concerned about cross use but no rules.

Yeah, like the yellow ones from Costco are strickly for wheels and under the hood.

Drying -- Guzzler (Green)
Polish Removal -- Indigos (Dk Blue)
Wax Removal -- Satin Edge (White, red border)
Spray Wax -- Ultras, Supremes (purple, blue, grey w/ black border)
