I see a lot of reference to these 2 products but I could not find out what they are by doing a search. The only thing I see are references to the M105, and M205. I did go to the Mequirars (spp) site but there are a lot of products there.

What are they? I guess I'm asking what their proper name is?

Thanks for helping a newby.

They are Cutting Compounds M105 heavy cut...use M205 to compound after M105

They are in the Mirror Glaze line. 105 " Ultra Cut Compound" and 205 " Ultra Finishing Polish.

These two products are a great combo!! M105 is very versatile and can be paired with a wool pad to do some serious correcting work or paired with something mild like a white pad to correct and finish with a high gloss. Then use the M205 and a polish pad to really clear up that finish. M205 can even be followed up with something finer if you choose.

There are many excellent 1-2 product combinations out there, M105 / M205 is a classic for good reason. Try it, you'll like it.

Thanks a bunch. This is what I was looking for as M105, and M205 mean nothing to a newby.

anybody ever try m205 on windshield or windows for etching? or another product (polish) besides specific "water spot removers"

M205 might work for very light water spots... For anything that is really etched in M205 won't do much though.

Try Ceriglass. It's the only thing I use on glass now for water spots. It works so well it is amazing.
