I have a 1993 f150 with these gnarly bench seats. I have to take the seat upholstery/cover to fix a problem with the mechanical function of the seats. I was wanting to know can i throw them in the clothes washing machine? I was thinking low agitation an don't machine dry them. They are fabric with some faux leather in the back. The Inside of the seat cover material has a thin layer of some sort of foam, that was the only thing that had me worried about the washing machine. I know the dryer would mess up that material. I don't know diddly about car detailing. So if any of the terms or lingo is wrong sorry ahead of time. I already have to take the whole bench out of the car and take the upholstery off of these seats anyways so will they handle the clothes machine?View attachment 60294View attachment 60295

No.

Lay them out and wash with mild soap and lots of water rinse.

Air dry only.
