I detail as a hobbby and tried the eraser on leather seats and it help alot.
What i was wondering what else can they be used for in detailing?
what type or brand of eraser should i buy

I wouldn't use them on anything. They are abrasive - they can take the color off your seats and scratch your paint. Use the products designed for the job and you will not damage anything.

They are really designed for hard plastic, interior and exterior.

Yes, I have a tan interior with some tan plastic and effectively use them to remove marks. Some use them for leather, but I never would.

I used my pinnacle leather cleaner but was not taking the dirt and stains away. What is a goodstrong product to use

You need a leather brush to really get seats clean. I use the one from Swissvax - but I'm guessing AG sells one. Gently agitate the cleaner with the brush, wipe with a towel - repeat if necessary.

I find them great to remove dried wax on plastic trim pieces.

Magic eraser is great on scuff marks from shoes around the door. Griots garage interior cleaner is good but the best I have used is Meguiars all purpose cleaner plus d103 for the interior. I use it around the house as well. Unfortunately it's not going to be generally available any longer. They are replacing it with d101 APC. I ordered some and look forward to trying it.

I use CG leather cleaner followed by their protectant. On blue dye transfer on tan leather. I agitated it with a leather brush a couple time and got it cleaned up. A few months later the edge of the seat was blue again. Because I used the conditioner on it all it took was a couple wipes with the cleaner on a microfiber towel and the dye was gone.

At my shop I detail mainly classic cars so I see a lot of white interiors and vinyl tops.
The erasers work great on interior scuffs and dirty white tops doing small sections at a time.I would not use it for anything other than white regarding the tops.
