Hi , lets just say i just put on some Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax 3 oz. on my car. What can i use to maintain my car and have the same gloss and shiny look ? I was informed once we put on the carnuba wax , we should not put detail sealant on it . I also bought the Pinnacle Crystal Mist Detail Spray but i was wondering what can i use if my car has dust on it as the Pinnacle Crystal Mist Detail Spray
looks like is only used after car wash . What can i use if my car has dust or bugs on it and not screw up the Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax , and then i would like to use the Pinnacle Crystal Mist Detail Spray... The
Wolfgang instant detail spritz for dust removal and Deep Gloss Spritz Sealant after car wash i can't use since i have the Paste wax on my car right ?

can i use this when my car is dusty or can i substitute a car wash and use this ?

Pinnacle Crystal Mist Carnauba Spray Wax

Directions from the link:

1. If your vehicle is particularly dirty, wash and dry it before applying Crystal Mist.

2. Spray a thin, even mist onto one panel at a time.

3. Buff to a bright, reflective shine.

4. Using Crystal Mist as you towel-dry your vehicle will prevent water spots by wiping away mineral deposits.

I would do a quick rinseless wash before using that product to reduce the chances of scratching the paint.

that is what i would like to know .. what product can i use rinseless wash before i can use this ?

I was informed that i should not use wet paint sealant ( detailer sealant ) if i use
Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax 3 oz.

I don't know what a wet paint sealant is? Who told you this and can you give me an example of the type of product you're talking about?

I think you might be confused with product terminology. If you apply Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax you won't want to put a sealant on top of that product such as Wolfgang's Deep Gloss Paint Sealant, but you can use a spray sealant/quick detailer type product like Pinnacle Crystal Mist Carnauba Spray Wax. Pinnacle Crystal Mist isn't going to remove the wax you already but applied but what it will do it bond to the wax to enhance the exist layer of protection and shine of your paint.

For example, Pinnacle Crystal Mist:

Pinnacle Crystal Mist is compatible with all waxes and synthetic sealants. The natural oils and carnauba allow Crystal Mist to perform well in hot, humid climates. For the best results, always use a plush microfiber towel.

Some spray sealants/waxes do not work well with all paste or cream waxes/sealants/coatings so just read the directions of both products to see if there is any conflict. In general you shouldn't have any issues but there are some rare cases you will have problems. Just remember spray waxes and sealants are used to enhance existing last step products (LSP) or waxes/sealants/coatings, not remove them. Some spray waxes/sealants also can be used as quick detailers but again just check the instructions on the bottle or on Autogeek.

Another thing to remember is since Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax doesn't have any cleaners or abrasives in it you can layer the wax. For example, you applied the original coat of wax and it's now 1-2 weeks later you was your car and decide you want to put another coat on that is totally fine. If you want to add more layers of wax in the same day, check the instructions of the product to see if there is a cure time between applications.

Here is a link to everything you'll probably want to know about Souveran Paste Wax and more: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/pinnacle-wax/48041-all-about-pinnacle-souveran-paste-wax.html

Hope that helps and I didn't confuse you more! :dblthumb2:

Thanks Scott for a great detailed post... Now i understand, let me just explain how this happened.

Just used these steps per wolfgang product...
1. I used Wolfgang 3.0 swirl remover ,
2. followed by Wofgang Finishing Glaze polish
3. Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0
4. Final step Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax 3 oz.

When i called autogeek rep told me i should not use Paste Wax before Paint Sealant which i understand that part but then i started thinking , after these 4 steps , how to maintain this glossy shiny look ..

For instance, what can i use ...

1. After car wash , what i can use that won't mess up my pinnacle paste wax to keep the high gloss shine.

2. If there is dust or a little dirty , and i don't have a chance for car wash , what can i use and not mess up my pinnacle paste wax i have on, to keep the high gloss shine.

I guess i started thinking on what to use on how to maintain my high gloss , and had that thought in the back of mind that i should not use paste wax before paint sealant ... that is where like you said i am not sure on my detail terminology , on what to use since i put the paste wax on .
