Happy weekend AutoGeekers -
Plastic exterior trim is the bane of my existence; nevertheless, I find myself with a new Hyundai Tucson (black, of course) sitting in my driveway. As I have learned in the past, you have to protect trim on the front end of a car's life...once is gets to fading (or, heaven forbid, the dreaded tiger striping), you will be fighting a losing battle. [Side bar: Why on Earth do major manufacturers continue to put black plastic on these new SUVs?]
Ordered some WETS last week from AutoGeek and just applied today - seems to be a very good product. Question is, how often to reapply? It seems a bit expensive to re-apply with every maintenance wash? Just curious.
Feed back please
