My wifes car has alot of plastic trim panels. Air dam, large portions of the front and rear quarter panel as well as the front of the car.

The plastic is painted the exact color as the metalwork..

I see lots of differnt products for plastic including the one from CarPro but I am not sure that they are for these types of panels.

Can I not treat the plastic the same as the metal by using Wolfgang sealant and then Fuzion or do i need to go with some plastic cleaning and sealing regiment?

If so, what are the recommendations ?

If the plastic is coated/painted, I'd suggest treating it the same way you would the painted metal panels.

Most of the specialty plastic products I've seen are for uncoated or black plastic trim.

:iagree:

Treat the body colored areas like the rest of the car; any good sealant or wax. We had a couple of Lexus and yes they use a lot of non-metalic body parts to save weight. Any black trim can be treated with one of the specialty dressings for trim. Lots to choose from which make looking at the store web site so much fun; kind of like a kid anticipating Christmas!
