I decided my dads ranger needed a good winter prep as it never even had been waxed since he bought the truck in april. The interior needs to be cleaned but i was short on time. Being a pickup i know it get a little abused (not so much tho) so the process was quite simple and goes like this:
washed with autochem shampoo, wheelwells cleaned with APC
tires treated with simoniz tire shine (remember pickup truck and 2$ a can lol)
sonax cleaner wax on small orbital buffer (changed pad twice since they were darkened from the cleaning agent)
mothers FX wax spreaded with griots polisher on blue LC pad
followed by OPW and a final buff
plastic treated with autochem plastic and vinyl dressing (looks really much like autoglym rubber care)

the truck looks fantastic now, the metallic flakes in the paint sparkles a lot , doesn't have the plastic sealant look, a bit of wetness, darkness was added to the color ! best of all it took less than 2 hours and i was really fighting for space around the truck.

the pictures are the best i could get with the weather we have now !

the color pop'S even in that gray day

Never been a fan of Mother's products, but the results look pretty good I must say.

I think your Dad will be darn pleased and very proud! :props:

That metallic blue really stands out now. You have a nice assortment of products and Mothers wax topped it off quite nicely.....:dblthumb2:

wow. great job. that's a nice truck. like the color combo blue/black. what is "OPW"?

OPW = optimum wax

yeah, my dad was quite stoked to see his truck looking better than when he took delivery of it brand new 6 months ago.

I also have quite a bit of products, most of them were bought to try out and well let say I am leaning back toward mothers again, ease of use, durability and price cant really be beat, even their professional line is priced properly !

Nice work. Just in time for Quebec and there over use of Road salt :)

Thats a truck to be proud of :) Are those French signs in the background?

yep just in time for the quebec calcium overuse (and around montreal/laval is the worst place since they use a mix of rock salt sand calcium and maybe even little childrens lol)

and yes the signs are french , its a local for rent just beside my dad's garage (and my part time detailing bay lol)
