Making silver paint pop

Any one come here to find the best wax for your silver car?

Seem a long time now but maybe the Meguiar's G18211 Ultimate Paste Wax is the most popular one.

But you can consider with Pinnacle Signature Series II Carnauba Paste Wax. They pretty good too.

You can check more detail on amazon or other place to have more information.

This is a car detailing forum. This IS the place to go to get MORE information.

Amazon only sells stuff. They don't have a forum to get help.

Plus you type in broken English and shared a link to your SPAM site.

To me, banning Spammers is a sport at which I excel and enjoy.

I have a silver car and I have used CG Jetseal and CG Wet Mirror Finish. The flakes in my paint show up great in the sun and continues to look great. Definitely not the shine or pop from a dark car but a great look.

Acrylic based sealants always seem to make silver flake pop. Probably why the CG products were mentioned above

Accidentally hit “Dislike”, but truth is, I like your post. My bad!

I just finished up a silver 2011 jeep Cherokee went with menzerna medium cut , orange ccs pad ,Wolfgang dgdps and followed with fusion. Customer was amazed at how much the metallic popped. I really like this combo for light swirls and a little fade.

Nice! I remember old threads where people claim WGDGPS and Fuzion are best used exclusive of each other, rather than topping with Fuzion. I’m glad to hear your remarks as I eventually plan on using this combo on my silver TSX

I use menz 3800 (or whatever it is now) and powerlock on my silver pontiac in my avatar and I agree that it will never pop like some colors, but powerlock has always looked great and i love the smoothness of it.

I like a lot of things on silver. Most recent: M37 Hydro Blue topped with 10 Minute Paint Sealant. Can’t beat this easy combo to add a (somewhat) pollen resistant mini-coating to get me through pollen season before I do my summer detail after Labor Day

To make silver pop you need a bright, shiny sealant with little to no depth. Whatever you hated on your dark colored car is a good start. I've owned a lot of silver cars and what has really made them pop is Z2 (and DG111), FK1000P and Collinte 845.
