I'm looking into starting a detailing business but I am curious has anyone made there own cleaners

All purpose cleaner and made there own heavy duty degreaser

Hi do you mean from scratch like a chemist?

Simple Green or Super Clean are some of the popular concentrates here that people dilute to the recommended ratios.

Seems like a lot of work when you could get some Optimum Power Clean here on autogeek and call it a day. But if you enjoy that kind of thing go for it- maybe there are others that have done this and will chime in.

From scratch like using sodium hydroxide
in different strengths

APCs and degreasers are probably the most inexpensive detailing products available. I can understand trying to make your own wax or mix up a QD but unless you are trying to get into the wholesale/retail arena stick to buying and diluting your detailing supplies.

Yeah good idea it was just a general question to see if anyone has ever tried or done it before and if they saved a Sssshh load of cash doing it :)
