I have a 1 year old Makita buffer and was buffing a car and pulling on the cord lightly when the power stopped. I first thought at first I pulled the power cord out of the heavy duty extension. But no. I tried it in other known and tested plugs. No go.
I noticed that if I held the buffer and pulled the trigger at a 45 degree angle it would go on and run perfectly and when I changed the position of the buffer it would stop running. I tried moving the power cord to the buffer to duplicate this and could not. So I replaced the trigger. Guess what - it did nothing different. Same problem.
Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it?
Thanks in advance
