I finally got to break out my new buffer and products this weekend.
I have always taken great care of my watercraft so it only seemed natural to try the coating
Process:
Used the Pcxp with 4" Lc white pad and 3m Marine finesse-it glaze.
I removed the polishing residue using d101, then went over the watercraft a second time with eraser just to make sure everything was removed.
Finally I used the marine 31 coating with a Lc applicator
Everyone was right a little of the coating goes a long way.
I hope I did everything right. I left the coating on for about 2 minutes then removed it with a microfiber towel. I think I got the high spots out.
After polish
After coating
It's curing now. So I can't wait to check the beading out.
I will be interested in seeing how well this holds up compared to wax and the waterspot remover I use after pulling it out of the lake.
