So I live at the Jersey Shore and I’m putting together my business plan for mobile detailing. NJ’s shore towns such as towns like Stone Harbor, Avalon, Sea Isle, Ocean city have multimillion dollar homes and during the summer season they rent out for a week at a time. I’ve read Renny Doyls book and it was a good and informative book but I can’t seem to think of the best way to market to people who are only around for a week at a time.
· Word of mouth- When people come down I can leave some cards in the cup holder and wish them a happy vacation and a safe drive home, and please refer me to their friends and family.
· Flyer or brochure- I can talk to property managers and find a way to get a brochure put into the house. Most homes have info packages so the people that are from out of town know where to get a pizza or the close bars or maybe in my case a good Detail for your car.
Does anyone have any experience dealing with temporary customers, Shoobies, or snowbirds?
