An absolute waste of money. Where it belongs now. Crazy for a $60.00+ sprayer. No help from the company either, other than sending me a new suction hose that wasn't the issue... Complete piece of shite.

Yes, there is an IK sprayer in there as well. At least that one worked for a little while before failing.

I need to source some quality sprayers that will last. Need them for wheel cleaner, tire&rubber cleaner, APC, and Iron remover. Open to suggestions.

Will upload pics when I can, site didn't like the 'S' word in my Smugmug file description. LOL

The older I get the more often that happens

I just don't have the time or tolerance for trying to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear like I did in my youth when $$$ was in very short supply

The frustration isn't worth it

For the record, my IK 2 Pro whatever is ok, but not life changing and certainly not worth what I paid for it

Just curious, how are they failing?

Spray pattern goes to heck, keeps spraying without trigger pulled, etc?

Just trying to work out what might be failing in them to help set up for success with a replacement.

Damn, i was gonna look at getting a merolex, thanks for the info.

I have 2 ik 1.5 multi's and the one that runs the iron remover has after a year started to fail...trigger sticks and what not. The other that runs my 3d yellow degreaser mix has the pumper handle starting to feel like its gummed up or something.

Hard to find a product that is build to last. We live in a disposable world

Pick up tube kept falling off. Even tried a hose clamp/tie wrap/etc to hold on, even a new rubber small diameter heater hose. Would not hold psi, kept leaking out-mainly from the handle/pumper area.

Thank you!

Thanks for posting. Mine have been holding up just fine.

We live in a disposable world

It's called "Planned Obsolescence". And it is the business model for most (if not all) companies today.

There is less profit in selling you a washing machine that works for more than 4-5 years, and less profit for making a plastic sprayer that lasts more than 6 months.
These companies don't even have to care about "Standing behind their names" any longer.

There are no "Names".

Just crap products with crap engineering made the cheapest way possible.

And we gladly buy it every day, because they have eliminated our other options. ;)

I see you use them for rinsless? Do you use anything stronger in them? If so how long have they been holding up?

I want to like them but I’ve read a lot of bad. Had problem with my first two versions of the IK foamers too but I had APC and BB in them.

My sprayer for rinsless is fine. The foamer gets clogged from Frothe which no other foamer I have use does that with that product.

I wonder if you could shift the search to custodial/carpet cleaning type products or maybe agricultural stuff and see if there's a foamer/sprayer that is built for the PH range for the specific product you're using in them.

I've not looked a lot into it, but Solo is a brand that comes to mind that I've seen on sites like that.

Yes ive done just that before. Chapin is a big name in the construction/industrial for sprayers. They spray pretty toxic chemicals.

Just have not ponied up and paid for thier metal sprayers

thanks for the info SC. i was thinking about purchasing the 3000 foamer to use for wheels but now think i will pass and find another alternative. i can't (and won't) support companies who don't back their products...

That looks like the industry ergo acid. There is also the industry ergo alka for alkaline products. I'd expect APC, wheel cleaner, etc to be alkaline. Not sure if that would impact the outcome or not.

Big Blaster Spray Bottles with Cushion Grip | U.S. Plastic Corp.

I source most of my bottles/sprayers from US Plastics.

I buy in bulk sometimes and they're CHEAP as in expense, not quality.

Pretty good customer service too and i've called them, explained the problem I'm having and end up pretty happy with what they recommend.

The few times i've had one poop the bed i toss it and grab a new one. What it cost me, like 3-4 bucks?

I've ordered from them as well. The main negative is shipping and handling starts at like $20. Most of the time I've gotten large boxes that weighed practically nothing. I'm sure other sites pad their prices to include more margin there to allow for lower shipping costs.

Yes, Snoop, I agree. Shipping ain't cheap with them but I don't order often with them.

I hear ya, though.
