Married Men Question

There is no bed in he dog house.

Just kidding, I sleep on the right side.

I'm always on the side that's closest to the door. Everywhere we've lived that's always been the right side (My right).

Oh, you mean the side closest to danger? In case of intruder.... You first.

Just like walking on the sidewalk. Ever notice how you are always walking on the outside, closest to traffic? That way should a car jumped the curb - again, you first.

I kid, I kid. Although there is a bit of truth to it...

I haven't slept with the wife for years.my daughter sleeps with my wife and the 2 of them are like a boiler sweating in there sleep.sometimes I try to make it work but with my daughter in the equation I find the end table part of the bed so no thanks,I have my own room.

As long as I'm lying on the outside, and on top of

the mattress set...left or right side is irrelevant:

It's whichever side is closest to the door.

Yes...I generally sleep on the side closest to

the door; not because I'm such an awesome,

chivalrous protector...I just need to urinate a lot!

Lol

My wife always sleeps on the side closest to the wall. At home I'm on the right but when we vacation it's whatever side isn't close to a wall. Something she's always done so I've learned not to mess with it. This way I ensure some nookie from time to time. Make her angry and no chance, lol!

Old thread but since I'm no longer married I sleep in the middle. Feels awesome.

"Happy wife, happy life."

What if she's never happy?

You guys sleep in the same bed as your wives? Maybe you haven't been married long enough.

Been there DONE THAT!!! :D
(Pssssst... been married 38 years if that helps!) ;)

You read my mind Bob! ;)

Whichever side is closest to the bathroom works for me.

FWIW... that's my left. Or smack dab in the middle! :D

I'd like to think good ol' fashion chivalry could come into play though. Keep a 45 and a 9 in my nightstand, and CarMomma has a nickel plated full size S&W 9 on the sofa, and she's got a little Ruger LC9 Lasermax of her own... that you never know where that puppy will pop up at. ;)

OTOH don't have to worry about closest to a wall or anything because our cali-king is sitting at a 45 degrees to the corner of the room. (big room)

After 45 years:

Wife's room, three blankets, TV on all night.
Me, window open, even in winter, no TV, fall asleep within 5 minutes.

This is easy, since she snores more than i do, she has her own bed, and i have mine. I swear, she can talk in one second, and in another second, out like a light.

Closest to the door, anyone or anything comes in, they need to get through me first. At the very least, it gives my wife a chance to escape through the window

I've slept in a recliner for 25 years. Bad back can't sleep in a bed. She kicks too much anyway. 36 years with the same woman. Her and the cat in bed. I'm in the loft with a smart phone, tablet and PC (not Porter Cable) and Autogeek all night long if I want.:awesome::awesome::awesome:

37 years, on the left, cat btwn. my legs, wife has those jimmy legs.

Right side, just divorced, still sleep on right lol. Right = Alpha Im the MAN
