Master Blaster Hose extension - alternative brands?

I'm curious about the solution to this as well. I hated dragging the MB around and it made me stop using it. I currently wall mounted my MB but the 10' hose is just too short.

I wanted to buy the 30' hose but the $79 price tag from Metro is just too steep. Before, the price difference between a 10' MB to a 30' MB was only $10. Now, the difference is $20. So the pricing just doesn't make any sense.

I'm guessing that's because the ends on the hose and then the assembly time probably cost more than the hose does. So the difference in the cost of the actual hose is probably 10 or 20 dollars. So using that logic, an extra 20 feet of hose is worth $20, then the 30' hose is worth $30, then let's just say for argument the ends are $10 each, that's $50. Add $29 because it's an "accessory" and you have your $79.

I forgot to add my reasoning on why the 30' price doesn't make sense.

The 10' hose from metro direct is only $40. At the current price difference of the 10' MB to the 30' MB of $20, the 30' hose should technically be $60. But I'd hope that Metro would give a pricing break for existing MB customers that are just upgrading the 10' hose to the 30' hose. Like an incentive for purchasing their product and staying loyal to the brand.

When I bought my MB, there was no 30' hose option available. The $20 extra to get the 30' hose MB is a no brainer.

Yeah, well, we can do all kinds of fancy addition and subtraction, but at the end of the day, it doesn't have to make any sense, as frustrating as that is.

When I bought my 30', I sold the 10' to help offset the cost. I always find it interesting people buy a $300+ car dryer, and want to cheap out on a hose. It's like spending $400 on a rupes, but buying a $50 leaf blower to dry.
