Matte Finish shine to Tires?

Duragloss 253 provides a new/clean tire appearance. It also seems to hold up reasonably well if you clean the tire first.

The product is meant for trim, but I found that Tuf Shine Black Restore works great on tires.

I have to second the Eco Touch. I also like Meguiar's Trim & Tire gel...it is slightly glossier but not shiny at all.

Blackfire Trim & Tire sealant also works GREAT and lasts a little longer for me than the previous two.

I would also say Meguiar's D163 Tire & trim Gel. 1 coat will give you that look.

Pinnacle Black Onyx would be another one. I have on it on this forum.

One coat of tuff shine which holds about 4 months and more.

What is the best non-gloss matte finish look product for tires.

I can't say what is best because I can't represent that I have tried everything on the market. My favorite until recently was Adams tire dressing. It looks natural which is how I like it.

I just tried out the new DP Tire Coating and was very impressed. (I bought a second kit already which means I am putting my money where my mouth is). If you use a single coat of the DP Tire Coating, it looks very natural - which is what I like. (The glossy shine looks artificial to me on a tire).

Best,

Are you referring to Bob's recommendation of Meguiars #40? Yes, the product is meant for trim, but it also is great for tires. It leaves a great matte finish and does not sling at all. It is not long lasting, but since it is so easy to apply it is now the only product is use on tires.

I'm sure Meg's is good, but no, I am referring to Tuf Shine Black Restore. It's made by Tuf Shine, that also makes their Clear Coat for tires. I tried the Clear Coat, but for me it was too finicky to apply. Even when I scrubbed until their tire cleaner produced only white foam, I would still get failures of the Clear Coat.

The Black Restore on the other hand, makes the tires nice and black (it's a black liquid) and one coat gives the tires a nice, not too-shiny sheen. It is also easy to apply. I'd say it almost identical to Turtle Wax's Jet Black Endura Tire Coating, but more watery in consistency.
