Matte Paint, How long does it last ?

Hi i have a buddy/ client that is right now looking at a special edition brand new cts-v cadillac with matte pearl white paint.

my questions are: if this is going to be held on to for a few years what type of life expectancy does the factory matte paint have? have you seen this stuff fail ? what is your experience with matte painted cars ? what products can you use on it. i see that CG has a wash and sealant has anybody used this?

Just like the OEMs' SS or BC/CC paint systems...
The OEMs' Matte paint-systems are also designed
to last the entire service life of the car.

Not yet.

what is your experience with matte painted cars?

Should only use Matte-specific products;
never abrade the surface.

what products can you use on it.
i see that CG has a wash and sealant
has anybody used this?

I currently favor the Matte-specific products
from: Dr. Beasley's, RatWax, and Nanolex.
