Apple just announced their new operating system Mavericks is available free, and today! Anyone with a Mac can download it and my understanding is that you can download the newest version of Mike Phillips book on the Mac with Mavericks. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Just letting everyone know!

Also, Apple introduced a new iPad, the iPad Air. Without getting into specifics it's supposed to be super thin and light, 1 pound.
 
I'm excited to update just to play with some of the newer features. Just gotta back up my Macbook Pro and iMac.
 
I'm definitely excited for the new features! I'm looking forward to getting my "hands" on mikes new book.
 
I'll update just to get Mikes book. I was waiting for the new IPad to get it. Did they announce that yet?
 
They did. The iPad air is available November 1st.
 
All the way ready to buy an iPad Air on Nov 1, or as soon thereafter as I can get my hands on one.
Been waiting to upgrade from my iPad 2 for a long time.
 
Hey uhh how to u download mavericks?
How long are they letting this go free?
Like any deadline on downloadng?
 
It's free forever I believe. Jut go to the ap store and it should be there...
 
Mavericks has totally sped up my MacBook Air and it was already blazing fast, also I noticed so far my battery is showing about one hours more usage than the previous OS. So looks like it did increase battery use age quite a bit.
