Voila! Air tight.

Should've done this a long time ago :xyxthumbs:

When it comes time to open these vacuum-bagged LSP items...
It might be best to have the following Safety tool on hand:

A:
Non-sparking/Explosion-proof; (copper alloy): Bung Wrench.

I actually did the same to my Zymol waxes. Just so no mold or mildew creeps into them while stored in the basement.

Your bags look to be of higher quality though. I use these bags as sleeves for my pads when not in use as well.

I've had good luck with these zip loc bags. I use them for food often and I've never had an instance where air creeps in the bags. 12 guard-sized bags at Wal-Mart for $3.38. They also make gallon bags too which I'd assume one could fit 2-4 cans of wax into one bag.

Good to know.

I think she got these from target.

I took a tip from Swanicyouth and put tape around the lid. Simple and very effective.

I did however vacuum seal my fuzion after I dropped my lid and cracked it .

The vacuum seal looks like a good idea. have seen people do this before and it makes sense if you have the machine.

Now THAT is max preservation!

People still wax?? Just kidding. When I had a collection of waxes, I used to keep them in the fridge in sandwich bags.

While coatings may have the upper hand over wax/sealant, I actually wax for the therapeutic value. Something relaxing about it to me.

Then there is waxing the sealant

Found useful for car caring. Wax preservation provides rich look and color safety to my limousine.

Interesting! I'd no idea that waxes dry out (newbie). Is there an advantage to storing wax in the fridge?

During the summer, our garage gets fairly hot, but I have a small fridge in there so I could easily put my mini Fuzion wax in there. What about other waxes (bottles and carnauba wax in tins)? Thanks.

I put my waxes in the basement. I don't bother refrigerating them.
