Here is one of our latest projects, an 09 Mercedes Benz Maybach 62s. This car was built not to be driven but to be driven in. That is this vehicles sole purpose, its used to drive the boss around in everyday around Connecticut and New York City. Because it's used so often we had to find a 2 day window where it wouldn't be used. Now with this much paint, the condition and it being flat black, two days didn't seem like a lot of time.
The Maybach was dropped off and immediately went to work. First thing we did as give it a two bucket decontamination wash, which included an IronX decon and clay bar treatment.
After accessing the paint, I tried a few combos to see what would work best. When it comes to flat black, we try to minimize the first correction step if possible. We want correction and as much finish with as little marring as possible. After a few test spots I found Menzerna med polish on a MF pad via Rupes 21 mark2 corrected the paint flawlessly.
50/50 , possibly the only before pic I took, so much paint to polish.
After achieving these results the paint was polished with CarPro's essence. Then it was coated with two coats of CarPro's CQuartz Classic and IR cured .
The results were stunning
Thanks for looking, didn't take as many pics as I would have liked but we had to work to get this job done in time.
