Maybe trading isn't a good idea

Early in my membership here I had a run-in with EAD & put him on my ignore list. I'm not surprised by your post PPLd.
 
Well you have his name and address so why not try and send a demand letter?
Basically a formal letter that states (1) the agreement (2) that you fulfilled your end (3) that you have made repeated attempts to get him to make it right (4) that he continues to be in breach (5) and that he should make immediate payment/fulfillment of his end and (6) if such action is not taken within 10 days, you will be forced to explore alternative legal action.

Keep it polite, professional, but very firm. If you or your business has some stationary/letterhead, use that.

Not suggesting you actually file a claim, but sometimes a formal demand letter gets things moving. Even better if you have a friend that's an attorney to write it or sign off on it for you. :xyxthumbs:

Sorry you had a bad experience though, I've been tempted to trade some stuff myself but have always been too worried about something like this happening.
 
my advice is to just find a few buddies where you live, get them addicted to detailing, then trade amongst yourselves.

you can even pool your orders so you can get free shipping....

Whoa what this? You feeling big already talking this non sense crap? So I am going to clear things up and I came to conclusion we got 2 members who are 2 face here.

First of all I DID NOT ASK you to buy it for me, you propose to buy it for me.
I did tell you I was going to pay you the cost of the product and the shipping cost from the state of Indiana to Georgia.


After your friend came to the USA from Hong Kong almost two months went by before he even ship it to me like we agreed. Did I complaint about those two months umm NO! Randomly he ended shipping it to me which I clearly had no idea since I thought you were not going to end up going trough like we agreed.

So therefore it means your friend ship it to me before you ask me to send you the money for the product cost and shipping which I would have gladly done it without a problem!

If you got balls! to come over here and mention me and talk BS why don't you mention the other member name too?? Well his name is slickooz (Gary) I clearly told him I had gotten a wax almost basically for free. You didn't get with me for the money, I come home one day and I find a package waiting for me I had no idea what it was. I didn't order anything online until I opened the package it was the wax I had completely forgotten about.

I also told SLICKOOZ CLEARLY I was going to pay you anyways like we agreed and thats when I send you the message you quoted above. This also explains why SLICKOOZ was acting all weird the past couple of days when he hit me up on AIM. He is a nosy little Bit**.

If you feel like I am lying I got the proof to back up my words! You come to me with respect, I'll treat you with respect. You come to me treating me like an ass, I will treat you like the worst garbage. This goes to everyone in this forum, I am also like this with anyone regardless who you are!

I never had a problem with anyone but ONE member which I completely block who is Shiny Lil Detlr. This forum is a great place and a lot of great people but we also got members like you. This world is not perfect nor this forum is but I don't put up with anyone freaking crap!

Just the thought of having to stand in line @ USPS for 30 minutes is enough to make trading a deal killer for me

IDK how the postal service centers perform in your area, but here they absolutely suck! Their customer service skills are worse then anyones

well since everyone is opening up about their bad trading experience i thought id share mine too. A few months ago i send Flash Gordon 2 full bottles of turtle wax, 3 brand new ShamWow's, some turtle wax rubbing compound and some red shop rags to detail his ride. Its been over a few months and he never sent me the bucket of popcorn we had agreed on. He did send me a notification telling me he got all the top notch products i sent him. Still waiting on the bucket of popcorn.... :dunno::work::dunno:
 
LOL, bunch of e-thugs in this thread now! LMAO!! It cracks me up that people get this upset over detailing products. I get being upset about getting shafted, but to want to fight someone over it is just stupid. Way to show you're true colors....

Hey your PM box is full. I tried it last night and it was still full. Did you get my PM about Paypal account?

In our agreement we have agreed that I will get my friend to take the wax to USA so you do not have to pay for expensive international shipping. But he wasnt going to USA immediately so you have to wait for long time. You said you are OK with that and would Paypal me back the shipping from IN to your place, as well as the product. That end up to be roughly $23 ($15 wax + $8 shipping) USD.

Please arrange the payment as soon as possible. It wasnt our fault if you "forgot" that you have a wax coming. And of course the wax just show up at your place. What else will postman do? We told you it will take time and you chose to wait rather than paying Intl Shipping (It will cost around $40 USD if you are interested to know).

If you do not like this deal please return the wax to my frd's place. :props:

Flash, if you have any of the Turtle Wax left I'll trade you a sample of Armour All for a sample of it and I'll throw in 3 old dirty wash cloths for one of those ShamWow's (I've been looking everywhere for them).
 
ExoticAutoDetai why talking sh*t. Your the one who told me you got free wax from somebody couple days ago. I didn't even know of PPLd before I asked him to send me a link for price match. He mention that someone ripped him off and didn't pay. So I just IMed you last night to see if it was true.

You should of sent the money right away even before he sent the product.

Your a joke, blasting at me for no apparent reason.
