Anyone have experience detailing mazdas and if so would you classify their paint as hard or soft? It seems like it takes a lot for me to get swirls/clear coat scratches out of my year old 09 mazda 6. (Although it could be my technique.) I was trying meg 105 and a white pad, tried with a hydro tangerine, finally had to use a hydro cyan to get them out. I am trying to be the least aggressive i can, so maybe im just not working the polish long enough. I guess the good thing is if the swirls arent coming out, im not removing to much clear coat.

I have a 2010 Mazda 3 and seems the paint is pretty hard. I did not have too many swirl marks in the paint. I used a orange pad with TSR, white pad with Finishing Glaze, black pad with 3.0 sealant and topped it with Fuzion. Looks great! :xyxthumbs:

Looks great. Mine is black cherry metallic and looks really good but its tough to get the swirls out. Ill post pic tomorrow after i wax.

I have an 09 Miata and today was able to remove most swirling with a Lake Country Hydrotech tangerine pad and Menzerna Power Finish polish.

Yeah, VR8 has had some issues getting swirls out of his RX-8, but M105 on Cyan should take care of those problems. He may pop in here sometime to give his take.

The cyan and 105 took care of them, it was just a more aggressive combo than i thought i would need.
