This is my dad's birthay and he wants I detail his car.
It's a mazdaspeed 6 2007 with 25k on odo.

Process
Degrease engine with DP Engine degreaser and EZ detail brush
Clean tires and wheels with Wolfgang tire and wheel cleaner with EZ detail and a contour tire brush
Car washed with wolfgang auto bath and schmitt
Drying with Guzzler HD
Vinyl and rubber are dressed with wolfgang rubber and vinyl protectant
Leather seats cleaned and conditionned with wolfgang again
Tire dressed with...yes with wolfgang black diamond gel
Clayed with meguiar's mild clay and dp wash and gloss as clay lubricant

Polishing : (My first try with a rotary and I must say I love it!!)
intensive polish with white CCS pad via Makita 1500 rpm
Final polish white CCS pad via makita 1200 rpm
Micro polish with blue CCS pad via makita 1200 rpm

Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer via porter cable and black ccs pad

Wax : I was hesitant to souveran paste wax or fuzion (both are great on red) but my father doesn't wax his car, so I put a coat of fuzion, who has a better durability.

here some pics, thanks for watching

I must say, that is amazing looking. Very slick looking! I'm feeling the wolfgang BD tire gel

thank you all all your feedback is appreciated

Great job! Looks like you're applying what you learned here to your detailing technique. You didn't skimp on products either. And it still amazes me how quickly even so called well kept cars can get that grey film to their clearcoats.

that looks great..i love how fuzion just makes that metallic paint pop

How would you describe your first experience with the rotary?

I used a pc before, and I felt that was the time to upgrade to a rotary. For my first try, I just used a finishing polish with a white pad to "feel" my new toy. What a beast...that was my first impression. I wasn't so confortable so I continued with a finishing polish to 2-3 spot to get more confortable. After, the real fun began and I was really impressed with the result (time for the polish to break down is far less and the result was by far superior) I guess with more practice (it's the key) I will be able to achieve a better finish. But for my first try I'm really happy with the result.

Nice work man. You brought the pop back to the metallic.

Gotta love new toys

Car looks great!

Your poor EZ brush looks hurt though!

Fuzion did that car good!

Hahahaha yeah they had a hard work to do, my father just washed the exterior of the wheel since he's got it (and it's been 1 year and half now).

Fuzion is a pleasure to use, goes on very easy and buffing is really easy to, one of my favorite wax!! and the durability is also good.

Looks amazing, great job!!

Where did you get the floormats from? I have a 6i with the Mazda all-weather (rubber) mats that have a hole worn through and I'm looking for something more durable to replace them with.

Yea, that looks FABULOUS! I hate to say it, but even though the Wolfgang stuff costs so much, they definitely have some terrific products. I've been super pleased with the sealant and the tire gel. The Auto Bathe didn't seem that special to me.

I am going to have to break down and get a large bottle of the sealant though.

Yes the original floormat is not so durable. I'm from montreal so I don't know where you can get these floormats beacause my father picked up these from a local store. It's call "Duro"
DURO Vitres D'Autos | Spécialiste du pare-brise au Québec
They got some nice accessories.
