hahhahahaa, so you think. lol:rolleyes:

So do 99% of AG members think this also, the other 1% most fall in your rare personality category.;)

Menzerna polishes were designed to remove very fine (3000 grit) swirls from the new, super-hard, ceramic clear coats. These are the BASF clear coats being used on the Maybach and 2004-5 Rolls Royce Phantom and PPG's CeramiClear which is being used on the 2005 Mercedes C-Class, they can also be used on conventional clear coats.

On Ceramiclear and other hard clear coats (i.e. Audi, Corvette, BMW, VW, etc) and most other paint systems I would recommend a two level foam pad / polish system to really bring out the paint. Start with PO 106ff and an LC Orange foam pad and follow with white foam.Menzerna polishes will not finish up dry, but will always have a hazy film to them.

Polish to a ‘haze’ - when a polish "flashes" from a liquid paste to a light semi-dry haze; its colour will be become somewhat clear; the polish has then broken down and is ready for removal. It is important to know when a polish has broken down because if you take it too far you will re-introduce surface marring by 'dry-buffing'.

Product specific-Menzerna Polishes- are foam pad ‘dependant’ as far as its paint correction abilities are concerned;
Power Gloss (POS 34A) cut 5.0 - gloss 1.5 (LC Foamed wool, Yellow or Orange LC CCS foam pads)
Super Intensive Polish (PO83Q) cut 3.5 – gloss 3.0 (Orange LC CCS foam pads)
Final Polish (PO85U) cut 3.0 - gloss 4.0, a White LC CCS foam pad
Nano Polish (105FF) for light surface marring and / or surface finishing, use wax as a lubricant .cut 2.5 - gloss 5.0 for LSP ready use a White LC CCS foam pad, these polishes can also be used for conventional

Menzerna polishes were designed to work in the controlled temperature / humidity environment of a paint shop finishing line, so be aware that working outside you may have issues like excess humidity, heat, etc that will affect there performance especially with the Nano polish (105FF)

These polishes respond better to the friction heat produced by a rotary, but can be used with a ROB by utilizing 5-inch LC CCS foam pads and a 4.5-inch backing plate

If your having that problem use 50% of FP 11 and should resolve your problem

thanks for all the info everyone...Since i don't have any other menzerna products i'm going to start with the 106ff and a white pad and see how it goes, then move to an orange pad if the white pad doesn't have enough bite...i'm sure the work time will be fine, and for the record, XMT 1 is such a mild finishing polish that i don't think you could ever remove a swirl with it, and def not on a black car...
