How's it going guys? I have not made a video in a long time, Writing articles and making videos is something that I love to do very much. Count on much more videos in the near future as I am getting more settled in.

In the video I go over how I go over how I get about 90% Correction in just 2 Buffing cycles with Fast Compound and Fast Polish.

Awesome review Joe! Question, I noticed you primed the microfiber pad but not the foam pad, is that always your process? Thanks for sharing.

Kyle

Impressive results and well spoken as always Joe. I truly enjoy reading and watching what you put up, I have learned a few things from you.

Also how does the compound compare to griots FCC, fcc is my current go to compound but I'm getting towards the end of the bottle and the McKees lineup as a whole is calling my name more each day it seems.

2 buffing cycles of 5 section passes?

Seems like alot?

i dont think i like the boss perfecting cream that much, it has a long buffing cycle but doesnt leave as good a finish as some of the other finishing polishes

Nice job, Joe. Even before you said anything, I noticed you stayed away from buffing over the tape line. Great job. I did notice the compound seemed to be very oily upon wipeoff. I don't like that. Anyhow, good results, nonetheless.

Thanks WRAPT,

I hate using tape for 50/50s it gives the best visual difference though. I hate touching the adhesive and scratching the car again.
I was trying very hard not to hit the towel with the tape.

There are 2 reasons why the fast compound appeared to be oily, #1 is The pad was brand new and i did not massage the fibers properly because I was recording. ALOT of product was on the pad that was not properly distributed over the all of the fibers. #2 I did not want to hit the adhesive from the tape with the towel, I did not want to marr the surface with the adhesion and ruin the video, I was wiping very lightly.

Fast Compound or Fast Polish wipe off very easy, That is one of my favorite characteristics about the polishes.

Did I mention I hate tape? lol

Thanks for the calcification! Makes sense.

I, too, cannot stand tape. The adhesive and residue from the tape itself is very counterproductive, IMO. I only tape if I absolutely have to.

Looks good Joe! What other products would you compare the two McKee's to in terms of resuts of finish and ease of removal? Do you have thoughts on comparisons to Meg's products?

Thanks!

There are alot of choices when it comes to polishes, and there are alot of good polishes on the market that will give you good results, However there are some characteristics that are important to me while i polish and thats.

Easy Wipe Off
Long Working Time
No Dusting
Good Cut/Finish

and the McKee's line of polishes check off all the things I want in my polishing lineup.

Looks good. How's the smell?
The Fast Polish, and Jeweling Wax dont really have a scent, It is just mild. The Fast Compound has a bit of a stronger scent but its not harsh by any means.

Since Bob McKee sold Autogeek, I think the McKees line will be solid, as Bob can really concentrate on making this line top notch.

The line has always been good! I remember the first time I used it on the world of wheels episode for Competition Ready, I was super impressed with Fast Compound, Fast Polish, and Jeweling Wax. I remember talking to Bob after the show and telling him how good the stuff is!

Cant believe that was over a year ago. time flies.

I was not suprised that we won best paint at the show after we was done!

I also had the pleasure of working on the 1973 Trans Am on the detail fest episode and McKees was the products we used on that car as well. And the whole line impressed me.
